More Fiber Revival Information

“We will have a spot for NOBO in front of the house where we generally set up. You need to tell the folks at the admissions table that you are with NOBO and are demonstrating weaving so that you don’t have to pay admission. You will have to come before nine AM to unload at the site from your car. If you are planning to come later, we’ll just help you carry your loom from the parking lot—come to the NOBO tent first and fetch us! You can stay an hour or four—whatever time you have. If someone wants to use our table looms, let me know: we have weaving camp this week, but there will be some warp left by the end of it….. and some rigid heddle looms too. I’m going to bring down the two primitive looms we have at the farm, and put them by the weavers.”
If anyone has any other ideas, bring them and yourself along on Saturday!! Let’s make this year the best showing of NOBO Handweavers. Counting on seeing lots of our guild members during this very local fiber event! -M

Fiber Revival is being held tomorrow, rain or shine, from 9am-4pm. The big barn (you remember the one where we all gathered while the Newbury Fire Department was tending to our ‘wild’ emergency) will be open for spinners and NOBO Handweavers to set up and hang out with one another. So don’t let the rain scare you away! Take some time tomorrow to enjoy being among your fellow fiber addicts.
