Snow?!
Hi all-
I don’t think we’ve ever had to cancel due to snow before but what’s the procedure? I can’t remember…
Is anyone else tired of all the storm hype that weather reporting has become? I originally heard heavy rain for tomorrow, now I’m hearing snowicane.
Snowicane? Geez!
Okay, now I heard just rain again. Ought to be interesting.

Hey, I just saw the news and they used that same phrase. Lived here my whole life and that’s a new one. We’re being hammered here in Boston with heavy rains and STRONG winds right now. Hope you’re safe and sound.
I swear our house was rocking last night!
Unfortunately, a large tree took down the main power line to Merrimac so it’s a pioneer’s life for me.
I actually tuned up my treadle sewing machine to finish my sock yarn project for Handwoven if the power stays off.
Heck, I’ll bring out the needle and thread, need be.
Right now I’m in the toasty, warm West Newbury library and don’t want to go home to a dark and cold house. Maybe the power’s back
Truly hope everyone arrived home safely from the meeting Thursday evening. A bit scary. Lots of tree limbs down in our yard, but none on the house, fortunately. We were without power for about 12 hours; however, my Resident Engineer had purchased and installed a generator last summer – so we had power enough to run the essentials: furnace, coffee pot, etc. Lovely thing, that generator.
