This weekend is the annual Newburyport Artisans Show and Sale, held in the wonderfully quirky, old hall of the Unitarian Universalist Church on Pleasant St.  Be welcomed, as you walk through the handcrafted birch archway and enter the worlds of local artisans.  Be warmed, body and soul, as you gaze upon the creations from clays, fibers, metals, pigments, and more.  Please join us Friday evening from 5-9 pm, which is also Newburyport’s 2nd Invitation Night, and Saturday from 11 am-7 pm.

What a high caliber show this was!
Margaret’s woven treasures were the best part of the exhibit.
The natural fibers and dyes have such tactile appeal.
I personally witnessed two scarves get snatched up my a man that was a clothing connoisseur. He seemed quite pleased that he had acquired such beautiful scarves.

Also tempting were really cool fountain pens, woven wheat creations, blown glass creations and so much more.

This has become a Christmas tradition for me.
