NOBO Handweavers

Update on Fiber Reading List

Melissa is providing us with the amazing – a description of each and every book on the NOBO Fiber Reading List. Hold onto your shuttles because at last count, there are over sixty titles!

Don’t miss our June 24th meeting, next Thursday evening at A Loom with a View, Newburyport – “Summer Reading”, survey discussion, and more, of course. Remember to bring in your favorite “weaving or fiber” book and even a woven piece for Show and Share that may have been inspired by your choice.

About Margaret B. Russell

Focus - natural fibers, naturally colored and naturally hand-dyed. Specialty - researching and weaving with the wools of primitive, rare, and threatened British sheep breeds.

Being a “bookie,” I am truly looking forward to this! Thanks in advance, Melissa.

  2. Summer reading!
Right now I’m reading Goat Song by Brad Kessler.
This was recommended by Lady Heddle aka Eileen.
No sheep or weaving but it makes me want to get some goats :-)

  3. While we are talking books, take a look at the Library listing and see what Ted has done to make our selections much easier!
